I want fabulous

Sitting here feeling a bit under the weather and thought, first off, “I cannot get sick before the road trip.” and second, “maybe a little hit of color will pick me up.” So I moseyed on over to pinterest to get some color therapy. Mission accomplished.
I am a big Pantone fan so when they announced the 2012 color of the year, Tangerine Tango, last week, I already started thinking of new ways to infuse the hue into my decorating. A tangerine lip or a bright dress are my first thoughts when it comes to the citrusy shade, but I’d also like to incorporate it in a way that can last a bit longer. Adding a pop of tangerine in the living room, office, even on the walls seems like the perfect way to acknowledge the trend without going overboard. Mixed with cream, white, silver, even similar shades like coral and fuchsia, tangerine can look fun and sophisticated.
I am a notebook kind of girl. I make lists…lots of lists…especially when I work. I have an obvious obsession with beautiful paper goods, which of course includes notebooks. Here are a few of my current favorites sure to make any ‘to do’ list more stylish.
Howling gale-force winds are whipping around the house and the rain is battering against the windows.
It’s pretty wild outside – again – this being the third storm we’ve had in recent weeks. While it may be grey and grim out there, I’ve spent the last ten minutes flicking through the new Home look book from John Lewis with its promise of spring days ahead.

Eco can so be chic. I’m so glad there are starting to be more and more options for eco products. Do you have some favorite eco brands or sites? I’d love to know!
